Closed beta signup

We process first name, last name, email address, preferred language, signup time, and confirmation time solely to verify the signup using double opt-in and later send an invitation to the closed beta. This is not a newsletter. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give in the signup form.

If we contact you personally in connection with this signup, we store the subject, text, and time of that message so it stays traceable what you have already been told. This history is deleted together with your signup.

The signup concerns this launch page only. Contact data you later maintain inside the Colligis application itself is not covered here; a separate privacy policy applies to it.

Abuse prevention

To limit automated requests, we temporarily store pseudonymized, secret-keyed hashes of IP and email addresses. The plaintext values are not stored for this purpose. These hashes are deleted once they are older than two days. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning service protected against abuse, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Recipients

We do not pass your data on for advertising and do not sell it. Access is limited to the providers that operate this website and deliver the confirmation email, each as a processor under Article 28 GDPR.

Retention

Signups that were never confirmed are deleted once the confirmation link has expired – at the latest 168 hours after signup. After that the signup could no longer be confirmed anyway. Confirmed signups are deleted once the closed beta has ended, and at the latest 24 months after confirmation. Independently of that, we delete your data as soon as you withdraw your consent.

Your rights

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future – informally by email to [email protected]. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out until then.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein, Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel, Germany.
